This week i was only able to have a very brief meet with Ollie as he had an exam to get to but he seems to be on the ball when it comes to design. He has already started brain storming ideas and we have chosen one to run with show he is producing me a better mock up of the design for me to approve. Hopefully get a meeting with him next week.

This is my blog for a class called Presenting a Personal Portfolio which as introduced to us a week ago. The aim of this class is to get us thinking about the marketing and packaging of us as musicians. We get paired with a HNC design student and its is our job to develop a professional working relationship with them and essentially be their clients. It is there job to produce appropriate packaging material for or music eg. album and dvd covers.

This week iI was introduce to my designer Ollie Bain and we discussed the rough outline of my degree project and appropriate design for it. My project is going to focus on Reggae music so lots of interesting ideas were discussed such as possible album designs and colour schemes. I am currently in the process of producing my moodboard to present to Ollie next week so I shall update more next week.
